In the 18th minute Patrik Alefors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Kielberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. One couldn't see Allan Winström behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Rune Knutsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rune Knutsson made a kick off. Fränsta BF's Tony Jansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Fränsta BF from getting a goal against them. Joacim Kvist got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Fränsta BF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Joacim Kvist hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rune Knutsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tony Jansson. That made the score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. Rune Knutsson scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Jansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Paul Vik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörgen Kielberg was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Magnus Månsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörgen Kielberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
