Axel Kullander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Långviksmon's Axel Kullander got control of the ball when Vilgot Alebom tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Tommy Lindqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arne Löv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Lundgren in the 24th minute of the match. Axel Kullander stood somewhat misplaced when Vidar Axelsson came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. After some careless play in the Sektion Retro Stockholm defense, Stig-Åke Petersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Löv. The Sektion Retro Stockholm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Löv should have stopped the shot. Per-Oskar Alberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Löv having to interfere. Christer Hedling struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Axel Kullander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sektion Retro Stockholm. Axel Kullander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vidar Axelsson's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Axel Kullander made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Vilgot Alebom sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Långviksmon's goal looked a bit too open when Vidar Axelsson came free, but Axel Kullander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sektion Retro Stockholm booed when Långviksmon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Alberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Långviksmon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vidar Axelsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Sektion Retro Stockholm's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Sektion Retro Stockholm's Vidar Axelsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Axel Kullander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Axel Kullander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens-Åke Larsfelt went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jens-Åke Larsfelt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Axel Kullander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. When Tommy Lindqvist came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Långviksmon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Lindqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Vidar Axelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sektion Retro Stockholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Sektion Retro Stockholm's Christer Hedling got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
