Katthuset BK's Claes Beckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Bäcklin in the 3rd minute of play. Harry Ekerot hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Stefan Holmberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Anundsson. Kinnarp BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Holmberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Katthuset BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ture Bäcklin came free, but Claes Beckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melker Wickander hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Kinnarp BF's Ture Bäcklin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melker Wickander during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Katthuset BK got a freekick which was hit by Melker Wickander. When %teams%'s Ture Bäcklin was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 16 minutes into the game. Claes Beckström was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Claes Beckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Bäcklin in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match Stig Kilman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Beckström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Kenny Forsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Kenny Forsell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Knutsson in the 62nd minute of play forced Katthuset BK's goalkeeper Claes Beckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roger Valrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claes Beckström came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Kinnarp BF's Kenny Forsell. But to his dismay, Kenny Forsell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ture Bäcklin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claes Beckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. If Roger Valrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ture Bäcklin scored 3-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claes Beckström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
