An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Engström in the 14th minute of play forced Sorunda FK's goalkeeper Göran Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Hybbert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johannes Stenberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Per-Arne Hybbert slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Per-Arne Hybbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot by Adrian Haraldsson from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Johannes Stenberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 33 minutes, Per-Arne Hybbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorunda FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Arne Hybbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orvar Wallman's late challenge caught a Åsunda IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orvar Wallman helped the player get up and apologised. When Per-Arne Hybbert fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorunda FK's protests and gave Per-Arne Hybbert a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Åsunda IF booed when Sorunda FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Arne Hybbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffer Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Göran Brenner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsunda IF. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Sorunda FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Åsunda IF:s goal. The referee gave Åsunda IF a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sven-Oskar Bröms, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sorunda FK's Göran Brenner. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Per-Arne Hybbert made the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Per-Arne Hybbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsunda IF's Johannes Stenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Joachim Engström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Konrad Asmundsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Brenner having to interfere. Christoffer Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sorunda FK's zone, Christoffer Olofsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Brenner came out of the goal and Christoffer Olofsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingvar Delin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Sorunda FK's Göran Brenner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sorunda FK from getting a goal against them. Johannes Stenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Arne Hybbert in the 78th minute of play. Joachim Engström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Brenner having to interfere. Joachim Engström might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Göran Brenner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joachim Engström ran back to his position shaking his head. If Christoffer Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Åsunda IF players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
