Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ivar Sjögren kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, SSC Partenopei's goalkeeper Claes Jonasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Hultstrand. Freddie Bållström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claes Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Rönnäng IFK's Ivan Hultstrand fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ivar Sjögren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rönnäng IFK's Ivar Sjögren in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SSC Partenopei's goalie prevented a goal. After 19 minutes, Folke Tholsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SSC Partenopei and the Rönnäng IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes SSC Partenopei got a freekick which was hit by Folke Tholsson. Billy Bäck charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Billy Bäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rönnäng IFK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Billy Bäck hit a great ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind SSC Partenopei's goalkeeper Claes Jonasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Rönnäng IFK booed when SSC Partenopei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Salqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivar Sjögren in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claes Jonasson saved SSC Partenopei from getting behind. Claes Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Sjögren in the 37th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, SSC Partenopei's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ivan Hultstrand fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Claes Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Sjögren in the 55th minute of play forced SSC Partenopei's goalkeeper Claes Jonasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th match minute, SSC Partenopei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Biörkman to maneuver through the defense. Carl Sjöö was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Claes Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Esbjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ivar Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Sjögren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Claes Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rönnäng IFK's Ivan Hultstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Ivan Hultstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Jonasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Pontus Martinsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rönnäng IFK's Carl Sjöö couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SSC Partenopei. In the 79th match minute, SSC Partenopei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Salqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 81stth minute of the game Ivan Hultstrand who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SSC Partenopei's Claes Jonasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claes Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Sjögren in the 83rd minute of the match. When Rönnäng IFK's Ivan Hultstrand in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
