The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivar Sjögren to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Åsunda IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Hultstrand came free, but Johannes Stenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christoffer Olofsson in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Emil Stenman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Hultstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Johannes Stenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Ivar Sjögren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johannes Stenberg. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 64th match minute, Åsunda IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Bergqvist to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Emil Stenman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Olofsson in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rönnäng IFK's Magnus Esbjörnsson got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Ivar Sjögren fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Joachim Engström might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils-Emil Stenman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joachim Engström ran back to his position shaking his head. Johannes Stenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Ivar Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rönnäng IFK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
