Spectators: 5005 (Terracing: 4004, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 0) Syrianska FC's Lennart Linberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Linberg in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Rydberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 7 played minutes, Syrianska FC's Stig Sävström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erik Rydberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Syrianska FC reached it. In the 8th minute, Zebastian Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joachim Mårtensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, PowRiders's Erik Rydberg got control of the ball when Kurt Asklöv tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Kurt Asklöv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Syrianska FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Asklöv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Syrianska FC's Stig Sävström shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Erik Rydberg but with some difficulty. When Joachim Mårtensson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Syrianska FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joachim Mårtensson couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Syrianska FC's Kurt Asklöv slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erik Rydberg. That made the score 1-0 after 48 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edvin Wiberg was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Per Stor managed to get in a good position for a shot. PowRiders's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Stor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Åkerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the PowRiders defense, Lennart Linberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Rydberg. The PowRiders fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Rydberg should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd match minute, Syrianska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Sävström to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 74 in the game by Edvin Wiberg from a close distance when the talented Johannes Åkerman managed to make a qualified save. Syrianska FC's players were relieved. Douglas Söderström kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Carl Delin kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to PowRiders getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ragnar Rosén hit a great ball. Erik Rydberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Linberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes of play, Syrianska FC's Lennart Linberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Rydberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Syrianska FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
