Ingvar Mogren hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Kurt Asklöv who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Sivert Lang when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Johannes Åkerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicklas Sandström in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Asklöv got free with Sivert Lang in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Syrianska FC booed when Uddevalla FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Tunberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sivert Lang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Linberg in the 19th minute of play. Nicklas Sandström hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Tomas Ahlroht's late challenge caught a Uddevalla FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Ahlroht helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute of the match Jens-Åke Lagerberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johannes Åkerman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Johannes Åkerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludvig Nyström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Syrianska FC's Kurt Asklöv got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Uddevalla FK's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Linberg came free, but Sivert Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivert Lang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Asklöv in the 45th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lennart Linberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Kurt Asklöv kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Kurt Asklöv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Svanberg in the 70th minute of play forced Syrianska FC's goalkeeper Johannes Åkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Åke Svanberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Lang having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ludvig Nyström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johannes Åkerman. That made the score 0-1 in the 84 minute of play. In the 88th play minute Ludvig Nyström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Johannes Åkerman. 0-2. Jens-Åke Svanberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Johannes Åkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Uddevalla FK's Nicklas Sandström got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Uddevalla FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
