The ball had pretty good speed, but Sune Albohm firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 14th minute Aron Widberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vallåkra IFK's Aron Widberg got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Widberg in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sune Albohm saved United F.C from getting behind. Ove Stenström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Söderlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vallåkra IFK's Aron Widberg got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Walter Kalfhage mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the United F.C and the Vallåkra IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, United F.C's Walter Kalfhage got a free kick in the 25th minute. Aron Widberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Måns Odman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kennet Dalman's late challenge caught a Vallåkra IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kennet Dalman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to United F.C getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kennet Dalman hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Gustaf Borre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sune Albohm skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, United F.C's Walter Kalfhage got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Söderlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Walter Kalfhage came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the United F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Kalfhage couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Alf Söderlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Söderlund got free with Ove Stenström in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 64 minutes, Måns Odman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vallåkra IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Måns Odman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Aron Widberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sune Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Walter Kalfhage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sune Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Odman, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. United F.C's Sune Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Odman in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vallåkra IFK's zone, Alf Söderlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Stenström came out of the goal and Alf Söderlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sune Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Widberg in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Kennet Dalman could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Ove Stenström however easily saved by the left post. Alf Söderlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Stenström having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Björn Lustig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sune Albohm was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Sune Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Måns Odman, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Many of United F.C's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. United F.C may have spent more time on the ball, but Vallåkra IFK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
