When Evert Brolin came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Norrtälje FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Brolin couldn't finish the play. If Evert Brolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hannes Heggert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Ove Lindgren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hannes Heggert came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Ove Lindgren slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Evert Brolin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Norrtälje FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hannes Heggert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Lindgren in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Norrtälje FC were awarded a corner. Evert Brolin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Norrtälje FC's Jim Söderberg to a score. 2-0 in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the match, Norrtälje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Hamberg came free, but André Wikander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Jan-Ove Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Heggert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mats Eckegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Brolin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hannes Heggert having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Alfta's goalkeeper Hannes Heggert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Brolin. Jan-Ove Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Hannes Heggert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filip Östlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Heggert having to interfere. Mats Eckegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Björklund to make the kick off. Jan-Ove Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Heggert having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alf Vinström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norrtälje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Vinström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Heggert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hannes Heggert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Brolin in the 55th minute of play. If Jan-Ove Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Vinström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Alfta getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Åke Bodin hit a great ball. Vilgot Fransson hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Evert Brolin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norrtälje FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 90 minutes into the match, Evert Brolin notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Alfta's Hannes Heggert. Hannes Heggert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timmy Västlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Heggert having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Evert Brolin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Norrtälje FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
