Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Markus Åström took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Markus Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jakob Stål blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christoffer Westerberg having to make a save. If Stellan Tönnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Åström in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Kenneth Skark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alingsås's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kinnarp the free kick. Stellan Tönnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor Lövgren having to interfere. Tor Lövgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stellan Tönnberg's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Jakob Stål sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Markus Åström rounded Kinnarp's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The supporters of Alingsås booed when Kinnarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffer Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Åström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stellan Tönnberg made a kick off. Tor Lövgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Tönnberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Christoffer Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Åström in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Markus Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alingsås's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Westerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kinnarp fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Åström in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffer Westerberg saved Kinnarp from getting behind. Stellan Tönnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Kinnarp's Ralf Nyström got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Markus Åström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Markus Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alingsås's supporters rose to their feet, but Markus Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Westerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Alingsås fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kinnarp had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
