Karl-Johan Stenman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Hultin having to interfere. After 10 played minutes Horda IK got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Jonasson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Beneth in the 11th minute of play forced Horda IK's goalkeeper Frans Hultin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Stenman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Frans Hultin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Indals IF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jon Malm hit a great ball. Kjell-Arne Ödmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Kvick in the 29th minute of the match. If Tage Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Johan Stenman struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Frans Hultin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Indals IF. 42 minutes into the game, Michel Lilja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Karl-Johan Stenman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Frans Hultin made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Johan Stenman made a kick off. Henning Beneth's late challenge caught a Horda IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henning Beneth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Henning Beneth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Johan Stenman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Stenman in the 60th minute of play forced Horda IK's goalkeeper Frans Hultin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frans Hultin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Johan Stenman's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. If Karl-Johan Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77thth minute of the game Karl-Johan Stenman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horda IK's Frans Hultin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute Henning Beneth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frans Hultin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell-Arne Ödmann made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Timmy Kvick sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Sten Lindqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Horda IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Kjell-Arne Ödmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Lilja, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute of the match, Sten Lindqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kjell-Arne Ödmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kjell-Arne Ödmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Lilja in the 96th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Indals IF's Per-Olof Olofsson got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Horda IK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
