The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Orrefors's goalkeeper Edvard Back, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Thomas Örtendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orrefors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Örtendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Arenius succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. If Thomas Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes DIF Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Max Wikander. Per-Olof Sandwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Arenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ingvar Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot. DIF Fotboll's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvard Back breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Orrefors's zone, Ingvar Sandström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Back came out of the goal and Ingvar Sandström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingvar Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Edvard Back tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Olof Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Arenius in the 69th minute of play. Bertil Andreasson charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bertil Andreasson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fredric Rudkvist hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Sebastian Arenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Olof Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvard Back having to interfere. Per-Olof Sandwall was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Sebastian Arenius capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastian Arenius really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Per-Olof Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvin Kvick in the 89th minute of play.
