Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sundbyberg RK's Oskar Sandberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Örtendal got free with Leonardo Öfverman in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A long shot from Per-Olof Granqvist in the 6th minute of play was well struck, but Leonardo Öfverman made a really good save at the right post. 8 minutes into the match, Sundbyberg RK's goalkeeper Leonardo Öfverman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Örtendal. Leonardo Öfverman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Arenius in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Sebastian Arenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvard Back came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Sundbyberg RK's Leo Stenqvist. But to his dismay, Leo Stenqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Sebastian Arenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orrefors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Arenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Thomas Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Arenius was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Orrefors's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sundbyberg RK's zone, Sebastian Arenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Öfverman came out of the goal and Sebastian Arenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Thomas Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Arenius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Öfverman having to make a save. After 36 played minutes Sundbyberg RK got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Söderberg. Orrefors's Thomas Örtendal got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Arenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Leonardo Öfverman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orrefors's Edvard Back played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Stenqvist in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Thomas Örtendal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leonardo Öfverman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Sebastian Arenius made the kick off in the second half. If Thomas Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Orrefors's Sebastian Arenius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Öfverman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 58 played minutes Orrefors got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Lundkvist. Sebastian Arenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alvar Lind fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundbyberg RK's protests and gave Alvar Lind a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sundbyberg RK's Alvar Lind got a free kick in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Sundbyberg RK's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Örtendal came free, but Leonardo Öfverman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Stenqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Edvard Back tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Thomas Örtendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Öfverman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Arenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonardo Öfverman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Arenius in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Orrefors's zone, Leo Stenqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvard Back came out of the goal and Leo Stenqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Sebastian Arenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sundbyberg RK's Henric Wästerberg got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Leonardo Öfverman came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Orrefors's Thomas Örtendal. But to his dismay, Thomas Örtendal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
