Kurt Falkrans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Nyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Douglas Fanström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jens Andersson charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Douglas Fanström to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Kiruna RK's Per Mager got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 64 minutes of play, Kiruna RK's Henry Gregersson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjell-Arne Hellqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulf Björkdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Kiruna RK could leave the field as winners, despite Töreboda IK having more of the ball for most of the match.
