The Lokomotiv Tåg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Erik Waller should have stopped the shot. Karl-Erik Waller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Knut Örtendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uno Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Vennersten in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Boll och Erektions Gänget getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Calle Algren hit a great ball. Knut Örtendal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Knut Örtendal in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Erik Waller saved Lokomotiv Tåg from getting behind. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Knut Örtendal made a kick off. A collision led to Boll och Erektions Gänget getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Calle Algren hit a great ball. Uno Bergqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kåre Vennersten went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Tåg's Kåre Vennersten got a free kick in the 56th minute. Billy Söderquist kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Boll och Erektions Gänget's Calle Algren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sten Lindell, made in the 66th minute of the game. Boll och Erektions Gänget made a substitution. Anthon Anselius replaced Knut Örtendal. Billy Söderquist hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Leonardo Norström managed to get in a good position for a shot.
