In the 16th minute, Tim Modig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Toronto Raptors booed when Avesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes, Toronto Raptors's Jörgen Norberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robin Bodin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Avesta's Per Sjöman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubert Lundhberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agne Lindblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hubert Lundhberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 52nd minute, one of Toronto Raptors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Toronto Raptors. If Torsten Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Lundin in the 60th minute of play forced Avesta's goalkeeper Robin Bodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Avesta got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Lundblad. In the 66th minute of the match Jörgen Norberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robin Bodin skillfully saved the ball. In the 66th minute, Carl Kaxe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magnus Wahlnäs kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Avesta's Per Sjöman got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per Sjöman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Lundhberg having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Agne Lindblom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toronto Raptors's Hubert Lundhberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 minutes, Linus Gunnarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toronto Raptors and the Avesta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Toronto Raptors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. Per Sjöman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hubert Lundhberg having to make a save. In the 88th minute, Malcolm Lundblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Avesta's Carl Kaxe got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Avesta's Agne Lindblom got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Toronto Raptors's zone, Per Sjöman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hubert Lundhberg came out of the goal and Per Sjöman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
