Olof Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Björkqvist in the 15th minute of the match. Sven-Ove Abrahamsson charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Ove Abrahamsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Helga Flour FF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sven-Ove Abrahamsson hit a great ball. If Johan Vallman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute, Johan Vallman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edmund Björkqvist struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Olof Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kozo. FC Kozo's Jörn Valler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC Kozo from getting a goal against them. Johan Vallman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olof Johansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Olof Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmund Björkqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Kolberg in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olof Johansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmund Björkqvist made a kick off. Vincent Britz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Valler having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, FC Kozo's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Dalkvist came free, but Jörn Valler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Britz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörn Valler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. If Edmund Björkqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Edmund Björkqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Kozo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
