Edmund Björkqvist started the match with the kick off. Jan-Olof Falkrantz might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörn Valler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Olof Falkrantz ran back to his position shaking his head. Jörn Valler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Birger Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Löddeköpinge BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Birger Hedlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörn Valler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kozo's zone, Jan-Olof Falkrantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörn Valler came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Falkrantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jan-Olof Falkrantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Löddeköpinge BK's Jan-Olof Falkrantz got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jörn Valler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Birger Hedlund's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Jan-Olof Falkrantz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Löddeköpinge BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Olof Falkrantz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörn Valler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Olof Falkrantz struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jörn Valler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Löddeköpinge BK. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Vallman got free with Stig Melander in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmund Björkqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Birger Hedlund was the one to do the kick off. Jan-Olof Falkrantz struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Jörn Valler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Löddeköpinge BK. FC Kozo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Olof Falkrantz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Johan Vallman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Melander having to interfere. Jan-Olof Falkrantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74thth minute of the game Birger Hedlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kozo's Jörn Valler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jörn Valler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes in the game, Birger Hedlund fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jörn Valler having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Jörn Valler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match was over Löddeköpinge BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Kozo throughout the match.
