But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valter Forsman couldn't finish the play. In the 34th match minute, Finspångs HK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ola Kilberg to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valter Forsman was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Gösta Kielstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guldränderna and the Finspångs HK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sven-Edvin Rudberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valter Forsman might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Johan Blomquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valter Forsman ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Kämpe during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valter Forsman got free with Karl-Johan Blomquist in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Guldränderna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Finspångs HK throughout the match.
