Alsterbro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell Nyman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bernt Siggesson fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alsterbro FC's protests and gave Bernt Siggesson a yellow card for diving instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingvar Löv to strike the kick off in the second half. Georg Lundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Alsterbro FC's zone, Ingvar Löv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Falk came out of the goal and Ingvar Löv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Klintehamn's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Nyman came free, but Georg Lundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Falk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Löv in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Nyman in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Lundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Klintehamn's zone, Leo Björk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Lundström came out of the goal and Leo Björk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
