Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jörn Wahlnäs got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Sörman in the 4th minute of play forced AC Maradona's goalkeeper Daniel Telin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Gallberg in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Telin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfred Sörman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Sörman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Telin having to interfere. Daniel Telin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Gallberg in the 12th minute of play. When Jan Zachrisson fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Maradona's protests and gave Jan Zachrisson a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Gallberg in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Telin saved AC Maradona from getting behind. AC Maradona's Daniel Telin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Sörman in the 24th minute of play. Rolf Stabbe hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Hans Gallberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Telin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Gallberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Hans Gallberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Gallberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Daniel Telin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Tunberg got free with Ingvar Beck in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 minutes, Ingvar Kilberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roknäs and the AC Maradona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AC Maradona's Sigvard Wästerberg got a free kick in the 38th minute. The supporters of Roknäs booed when AC Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Tunberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Hans Gallberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Maradona's Daniel Telin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jörn Wahlnäs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Beck having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Gallberg made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Hans Gallberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, AC Maradona's goalkeeper Daniel Telin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Sörman. In the 61st minute, Hans Gallberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Telin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hans Gallberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Telin came out and tried to block the shot, but Hans Gallberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 67th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Alfred Sörman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roknäs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Sörman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfred Sörman struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Daniel Telin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roknäs. 75 minutes into the game, Hans Gallberg lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Daniel Telin. AC Maradona's Henry Tunberg got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Telin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Gallberg in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alfred Sörman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roknäs's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Sörman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Telin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfred Sörman struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Daniel Telin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roknäs.
