Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Färila's Mats Wester started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mats Wester might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esbjörn Dalkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mats Wester ran back to his position shaking his head. Calle Almkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Esbjörn Dalkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Bergfelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Vennerlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's goalkeeper Esbjörn Dalkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calle Almkvist. The crowd rose to their feet as Mats Wester kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esbjörn Dalkvist. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Mats Wester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malmö FF's Esbjörn Dalkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Calle Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Dalkvist having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mats Wester in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esbjörn Dalkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Färila getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eskil Arvidsson hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Calle Almkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mats Wester kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esbjörn Dalkvist. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stig-Ove Vennerlund to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Calle Almkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Färila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Esbjörn Dalkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Wester in the 58th minute of play. Mats Wester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Dalkvist having to interfere. In the 65th minute Stig-Ove Vennerlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Bergfelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malmö FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anton Askstedt in the 67th minute. Malmö FF's Anton Askstedt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Allan Bergfelt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 68th match minute, Malmö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Erik Ekegren to maneuver through the defense. The Färila fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Färila's Calle Almkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 78 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Almkvist came free, but Esbjörn Dalkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesper Lekberg's late challenge caught a Färila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesper Lekberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Jesper Lekberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Calle Almkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esbjörn Dalkvist was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 89thth minute of the game Mats Wester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malmö FF's Esbjörn Dalkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
