The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Johan Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Martin Sundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Lundgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Oscar Lundgren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mörður Filt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 17th minute Ragnar Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Spenosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Andersson came free, but Håkan Snell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Spenosa FC's Mörður Filt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 28 minutes into the match, Spenosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Biörk came free, but Håkan Snell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sandhamn IFK booed when Spenosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Åberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Peder Kaxe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Håkan Snell skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th minute, Spenosa FC's Mörður Filt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Sundström got free with Oscar Lundgren in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johan Odén made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Spenosa FC's Niklas Törnkvist got a free kick in the 50th minute. Håkan Snell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johan Odén's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Tage Ekerot hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ragnar Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Snell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ragnar Abrahamsson in the 62nd minute. Oscar Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mörður Filt, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mörður Filt in the 69th minute of play forced Sandhamn IFK's goalkeeper Oscar Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Lundgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mörður Filt's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Martin Rang put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sandhamn IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! In the 83rd minute, Martin Sundström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spenosa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. After 87 played minutes Spenosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Falcon. The long shot by Peder Kaxe in the 88th minute really tested Håkan Snell's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Spenosa FC's Håkan Snell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Spenosa FC from getting a goal against them. Ragnar Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
