After having played for 17 minutes, Fredrik Ekblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Syrianska Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredrik Ekblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bo Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Odén in the 20th minute of play. Folke Biörk hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Sandhamn IFK's goalkeeper Oscar Lundgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joakim Liljeström. Bo Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Odén in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Ragnar Abrahamsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Syrianska Fc getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Elias Askstedt hit a great ball. If Fredrik Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredrik Ekblom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Joakim Liljeström came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Syrianska Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Liljeström couldn't finish the play. Ludwig Andersson hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Johan Odén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Syrianska Fc got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Björkkvist. Ragnar Abrahamsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bo Granberg made a huge save. Oscar Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Liljeström in the 72nd minute of play. Bo Granberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Odén in the 73rd minute of the match. Fredrik Ekblom struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Oscar Lundgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Syrianska Fc. Ragnar Abrahamsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sandhamn IFK's Johan Odén got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Syrianska Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Askstedt to maneuver through the defense. If Johan Odén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Syrianska Fc's goalkeeper Bo Granberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ragnar Abrahamsson. The Syrianska Fc fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sandhamn IFK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
