Hjalmar Backman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Gustaf Hjortberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sakarias Wall in the 46th minute of play forced Råneå IFK's goalkeeper Paul Hök to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sakarias Wall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvald Apelkvist hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match.
