If Anton Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Måns Ström fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Råneå IFK's protests and gave Måns Ström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Måns Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes, Lyrestad's Elof Strandberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paul Hök came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lyrestad reached it. Paul Hök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Åkerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Håkan Åkerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Råneå IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Isaksson came free, but Paul Hök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Sture Abrahamsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Råneå IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyrestad the free kick. After a rather tough play, Råneå IFK's Sture Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 44th minute. Sonny Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Söderlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Söderberg's late challenge caught a Råneå IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Söderberg helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Söderberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Paul Hök made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Håkan Åkerberg sent off a good shot on target. Håkan Åkerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Åkerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Håkan Åkerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anton Isaksson came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Lyrestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Isaksson couldn't finish the play. Råneå IFK's Paul Hök proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Råneå IFK from getting a goal against them. If Anton Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Lyrestad's Paul Hök threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anton Isaksson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Anton Isaksson took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Paul Hök to make any attempt to save it. In the 99th minute, Håkan Åkerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lyrestad's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
