Spectators: 7321 (Terracing: 5492, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) Tvååker's Börje Holmgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Pihlblad in the 7th minute of play forced Tvååker's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Olsmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Sandström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Rögle BK fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Rögle BK's John Bergkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alfons Andreasson took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjell-Arne Olsmann. Kjell-Arne Olsmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Stellan Dahlberg scored 1-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elliot Lidström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rögle BK's Elliot Lidström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Rögle BK from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Bergkvist in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell-Arne Olsmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elliot Lidström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Stig Hallgren's late challenge caught a Tvååker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Hallgren helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rögle BK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Stig Hallgren hit a great ball. Rögle BK's Elliot Lidström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Rögle BK from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes of play, Rögle BK's John Bergkvist made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kjell-Arne Olsmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfons Andreasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kjell-Arne Olsmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pål Dahlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pål Dahlberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rögle BK booed when Tvååker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pål Dahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game John Bergkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tvååker's Kjell-Arne Olsmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kjell-Arne Olsmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Bergkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Henry Helberg made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Börje Holmgren however managed to control. Elliot Lidström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Rögle BK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Tvååker's zone, Robert Sandström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Olsmann came out of the goal and Robert Sandström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 played minutes Tvååker got a freekick which was hit by Pål Dahlberg. In the 58th minute, Erik Vennerlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henric Hedström's late challenge caught a Tvååker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henric Hedström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tvååker booed when Rögle BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Hedström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Alfons Andreasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rögle BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfons Andreasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 minutes of play, Tvååker's Börje Holmgren made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elliot Lidström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute Börje Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Stellan Dahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell-Arne Olsmann made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Robert Sandström sent off a good shot on target. Kjell-Arne Olsmann came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Rögle BK's Robert Sandström. But to his dismay, Robert Sandström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4.
