Anders Blixt started the match with the kick off. Oscar Melander hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Per-Erik Vacker was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Anders Blixt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anders Blixt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Melander in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Gallin saved Strömsbruk from getting behind. In the 20th minute Oscar Melander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Gallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Melander's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The tjurarna fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when tjurarna's Oscar Melander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 34 minutes into the match, Strömsbruk's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Melander came free, but Viktor Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Ulf Hagström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes Strömsbruk got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Esbjörnsson. Calle Bergqvist struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Viktor Gallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for tjurarna. Oscar Melander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Viktor Gallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Gallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Melander in the 45th minute of the match. Viktor Gallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calle Bergqvist's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Oscar Melander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, tjurarna got a penalty, and Kjell Lund placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. In the 64th minute, Ulf Hagström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Melander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Gallin having to interfere. The supporters of tjurarna booed when Strömsbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Pihlblad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Strömsbruk's goalkeeper Viktor Gallin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calle Bergqvist. Kjell Lund hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Strömsbruk's Viktor Gallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Melander in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Petter Norberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbruk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Norberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petter Norberg in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Erik Vacker saved tjurarna from getting behind. If Oscar Melander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anders Blixt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Per-Erik Vacker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. tjurarna played a much better game than Strömsbruk and deserved their victory. The Strömsbruk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
