Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karl Fristedt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jens-Åke Stålman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Ekelund in the 8th minute of the match. After 10 played minutes Älghult RK got a freekick which was hit by Richard Lönn. 14 minutes into the match, Älghult RK's goal looked a bit too open when Per Smitt came free, but Jens-Åke Stålman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Åke Stålman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Ekelund in the 16th minute of play. Åke Ekelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Smitt in the 27th minute of play forced Älghult RK's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Stålman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niklas Damm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Åke Stålman having to make a save. If Per Smitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Smitt made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play Älghult RK's Karl Fristedt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Karl Fristedt kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the game, Trollhättan 1931's Mathias Ödman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Åke Stålman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 57th match minute, Trollhättan 1931 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Botvidsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Älghult RK's Sivert Lundgren got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jens-Åke Stålman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Ekelund in the 64th minute of play. Jens-Åke Stålman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Ekelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Niklas Damm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per Smitt struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jens-Åke Stålman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trollhättan 1931. 76 minutes into the match, Älghult RK's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Stålman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Ekelund. Trollhättan 1931's Viktor Hellsing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivert Lundgren in the 77th minute of play. Åke Ekelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Per Smitt came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Trollhättan 1931 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Smitt couldn't finish the play. Jerry Henriksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viktor Hellsing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerry Henriksson ran back to his position shaking his head. Trollhättan 1931's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Älghult RK had won, even though Trollhättan 1931 had held more of the ball.
