Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Die Flussee Haie's Wiktor Fernström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Melker Jelm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yngve Kielberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Fernström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Jarl Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiktor Fernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Kielberg having to interfere. If Melker Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Thomas Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sjömarken's Yngve Kielberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Fernström in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Thomas Hedin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sjömarken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Die Flussee Haie the free kick. The supporters of Die Flussee Haie booed when Sjömarken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Hedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melker Jelm in the 30th minute of play forced Sjömarken's goalkeeper Yngve Kielberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Die Flussee Haie's Ola Alebom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Die Flussee Haie from getting a goal against them. George Ingemarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jarl Lind fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Die Flussee Haie's protests and gave Jarl Lind a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, Die Flussee Haie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Lind to maneuver through the defense. George Ingemarsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ola Alebom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Melker Jelm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Sjömarken defense, Melker Jelm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yngve Kielberg. The Sjömarken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yngve Kielberg should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Ingemarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melker Jelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Ingemarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ola Alebom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Die Flussee Haie defense, Thomas Hedin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ola Alebom. The Die Flussee Haie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ola Alebom should have stopped the shot. Ola Alebom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Hedin in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Die Flussee Haie booed when Sjömarken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melker Jelm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Hedin scored 2-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ola Alebom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sjömarken's Thomas Hedin got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Thomas Hedin off the ground. In the 68th minute, Thomas Hedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sjömarken's Gustaf Ahlroth managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jens-Ove Löfdahl in the 71 minute of the game. After having played for 72 minutes, Gustaf Ahlroth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sjömarken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaf Ahlroth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Die Flussee Haie's Wilhelm Haglund suffered a sore thigh after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 75 minutes, Aaron Albom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sjömarken and the Die Flussee Haie players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Sjömarken:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Die Flussee Haie:s goal. When the match had been going on for 77 minutes, Die Flussee Haie's Wiktor Fernström got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yngve Kielberg. Melker Jelm was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ingvar Mellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiktor Fernström in the 84th minute of play forced Sjömarken's goalkeeper Yngve Kielberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Rudkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Sjömarken lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
