After taking down the ball on Cashflow's corner Joakim Sundberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emanuel Åkesson quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Tunberg in the 26th minute of play forced Cashflow's goalkeeper Kurt Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tord Tunberg took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurt Björk. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Kurt Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Tunberg in the 52nd minute of play. Cashflow's Kurt Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Tunberg in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Evert Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tord Tunberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute of the match, Tord Tunberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kurt Björk saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emanuel Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Eskilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Björk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rudolf Tingberg went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing manchester united would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
