Delsbo were furious when Stefan Söderman was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 13th minute, one of Delsbo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Delsbo. After a rather tough play, Delsbo's Joar Örnberg got a free kick in the 20th minute. Tage Fridlund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Osvald Ahlin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bengt-Åke Frykberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andreas Hallgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Johan Ånger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Martin Beneth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canes Pugnaces's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delsbo the free kick. Martin Beneth kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Canes Pugnaces's Tage Fridlund got a free kick in the 31st minute. Tage Fridlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Osvald Ahlin made a huge save. After 35 played minutes Delsbo got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Fernström. In the 36th minute of the match Jan-Olof Nordgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvald Ahlin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Andy Alegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canes Pugnaces's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Alegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Åke Frykberg took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Johan Ånger. Karl-Johan Ånger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Delsbo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andy Alegren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Hallgren got free with Karl-Johan Ånger in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Johan Ånger was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Bengt-Åke Frykberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bengt-Åke Frykberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. With a little luck, Canes Pugnaces's Karl-Johan Ånger got control of the ball when Bengt-Åke Frykberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bengt-Åke Frykberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Ånger having to interfere. If Andreas Hallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bengt-Åke Frykberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Frykberg in the 63rd minute of play forced Canes Pugnaces's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ånger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canes Pugnaces's Karl-Johan Ånger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Canes Pugnaces from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Delsbo were awarded a corner. Henning Söderman went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Andreas Hallgren drilling the ball in to score 1-4 behind Canes Pugnaces's goalkeeper. After a defensive mix-up in Canes Pugnaces's zone, Valdemar Fernström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Johan Ånger came out of the goal and Valdemar Fernström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingvar Widberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Ånger having to interfere. Bengt-Åke Frykberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Ånger having to interfere. Karl-Johan Ånger made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Bengt-Åke Frykberg sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Johan Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Frykberg in the 84th minute of play. Ingvar Widberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Karl-Johan Ånger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delsbo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
