Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andy Alegren started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match, Andy Alegren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Harry Kjellberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 11th minute, Ted Rosin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ernst Fernström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Johan Ånger was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the game, Åtorp IFK's Ted Rosin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Johan Ånger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Greger Bern hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Greger Bern got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 26th match minute, Åtorp IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Bern to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Canes Pugnaces's Harry Kjellberg threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andy Alegren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Åtorp IFK's Ernst Fernström got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canes Pugnaces's Karl-Johan Ånger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Rosin in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Åtorp IFK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ted Rosin made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernst Fernström got free with Karl-Johan Ånger in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute of the match Jan-Olof Nordgren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harry Kjellberg skillfully saved the ball. Karl-Johan Ånger made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ted Rosin sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Olof Nordgren, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Harry Kjellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Alegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Andy Alegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tage Fridlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Kjellberg having to interfere. When Canes Pugnaces's Andy Alegren in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åtorp IFK's goalie prevented a goal. Hjalmar Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Canes Pugnaces was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Beneth to maneuver through the defense. Harry Kjellberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Fridlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Alegren in the 92nd minute of play forced Åtorp IFK's goalkeeper Harry Kjellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Canes Pugnaces's Andy Alegren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harry Kjellberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The Åtorp IFK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Canes Pugnaces from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
