Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Ballingslöv IF's Andréas Zachrisson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivar Berglund hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 8 minutes of play, Ballingslöv IF's Andréas Zachrisson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jim Bergfelt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andréas Zachrisson in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Bergfelt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the game, Blåkulla's Joakim Nyberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Hylander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ivar Berglund's late challenge caught a Blåkulla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivar Berglund helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ballingslöv IF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ivar Berglund hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Andréas Zachrisson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ballingslöv IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ingmar Anselius 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Andréas Zachrisson struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jim Bergfelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballingslöv IF. Andréas Zachrisson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. John Åhlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Claes Hylander made a huge save. After 36 played minutes Ballingslöv IF got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Berglund. Blåkulla's Jim Bergfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Zachrisson in the 44th minute of play. Jim Bergfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Gudmundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Ingmar Anselius made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute of the match Egil Larsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Hylander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Claes Hylander came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Blåkulla's Ingmar Anselius. But to his dismay, Ingmar Anselius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Claes Hylander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marko Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andréas Zachrisson in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jim Bergfelt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. During the 78th minute of the match Ivar Berglund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ivar Berglund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Claes Hylander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Klintæus in the 86th minute of the match. If Andréas Zachrisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Hylander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Klintæus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claes Hylander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Anselius in the 91st minute of play. If Ove Hägert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blåkulla fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ballingslöv IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
