In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Charlies IF's goalkeeper Håkan Bergren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Håkan Bergren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Einar Falkrantz's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Håkan Bergren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fritz Vallman went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Charlies IF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Patrick Söderman hit a great ball. Patrick Söderman kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Åhus RK's Ulrik Skog couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Charlies IF. After 46 minutes, Kaj Nordström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charlies IF and the Åhus RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half Åhus RK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Einar Falkrantz made the kick off in the second half. Mathias Åström hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Kaj Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Charlies IF's Håkan Bergren got control of the ball when Fritz Vallman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Filip Gadd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Wassenius hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Åhus RK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mathias Åström hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Charlies IF's zone, Einar Falkrantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Bergren came out of the goal and Einar Falkrantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Åhus RK booed when Charlies IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Valström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Charlies IF's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Falkrantz came free, but Håkan Bergren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Håkan Bergren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Falkrantz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Mathias Åström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åhus RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charlies IF the free kick. After 88 played minutes Åhus RK got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Åström. In the 89th minute, Andreas Valström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Filip Gadd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åhus RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charlies IF the free kick. The Charlies IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Åhus RK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
