Jens-Erik Sundling stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert Jonasson's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Herbert Jonasson struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Jens-Erik Sundling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kåbdalis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marko Sikström during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marko Sikström hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lyrestad's zone, Harry Möller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Erik Sundling came out of the goal and Harry Möller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Herbert Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kåbdalis's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Jonasson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Erik Sundling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herbert Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Sundling having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Helge Alstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Lyrestad's Helge Alstedt got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Orvar Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orvar Jakobsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Roger Hydén made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Kleen in the 40th minute of play forced Kåbdalis's goalkeeper Roger Hydén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Hydén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orvar Jakobsson in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kåbdalis's zone, Aleksander Kleen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Hydén came out of the goal and Aleksander Kleen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aleksander Kleen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Hydén having to interfere. The Lyrestad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kåbdalis were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herbert Jonasson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Jonasson in the 56th minute of play forced Lyrestad's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Sundling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lyrestad's Jens-Erik Sundling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Jonasson in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Lyrestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Sikström to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Kåbdalis got a corner. Lyrestad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulf Blomquist ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gustav Markusson tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jens-Erik Sundling. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 67th minute. If Orvar Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Harry Möller came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Kåbdalis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Möller couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Harry Möller fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 84 minutes, Herbert Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kåbdalis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustav Markusson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Ulf Blomquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Lyrestad's Helge Alstedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Hydén narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Lyrestad supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kåbdalis's performance. The match ended with a win for Kåbdalis.
