After 2 played minutes Athletic Club Boca got a freekick which was hit by Sören Lindström. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Vik in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Berg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Athletic Club Boca! After having played for 15 minutes, Ture Stephansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Äng's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ture Stephansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anders Hake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Andersson having to interfere. Lars Albohm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Aaron Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Athletic Club Boca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Lövskog to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Athletic Club Boca's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Albohm came free, but Aaron Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Athletic Club Boca's Hannes Helström got a free kick in the 40th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Äng's goalkeeper Marcus Andersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egil Asklöv. Lars Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Berg having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 80th match minute, Äng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ture Stephansson to maneuver through the defense. If Lars Albohm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Lars Albohm took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Aaron Berg to make any attempt to save it. In the 87th minute, Lars Albohm reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aaron Berg. The goal made the score 2-5. If Ulf Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Berg having to interfere. Äng played a much better game than Athletic Club Boca and deserved their victory. The Athletic Club Boca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
