Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emil Ahlroht made the kick off which started today's match. In the 8th minute Emil Ahlroht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Kollberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Oskar Dahlgren in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Ånger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tony Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Ahlroht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Kollberg having to interfere. Storvik FF's Robert Kollberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Blomquist in the 19th minute of play. Tranås IK's Rune Blomquist got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Kollberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Ahlroht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Storvik FF got a freekick which was hit by Christer Nilsson. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Oskar Dahlgren was the one to do the kick off. Oscar Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Dahlgren in the 55th minute of play. Rune Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Kollberg having to interfere. Robert Kollberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Ahlroht's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 67th minute, Alexander Samuelsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Storvik FF's Robert Kollberg didn't even have to move. Rune Blomquists short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Robert Kollberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Storvik FF's Robert Kollberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Storvik FF from getting a goal against them. Tony Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Oscar Ånger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Storvik FF's Robert Kollberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Storvik FF from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Storvik FF's zone, Emil Ahlroht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Kollberg came out of the goal and Emil Ahlroht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Rune Gallin got free with Robert Kollberg in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rune Blomquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rune Blomquist came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Tranås IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Blomquist couldn't finish the play. Robert Kollberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Ahlroht in the 88th minute of the match. If Rune Blomquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
