Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jan Hultman got the match started through his kick off. Matthias Stephansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Matthias Stephansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th match minute, Gideå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patric Runeberg to maneuver through the defense. Gideå's Jan Hultman got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Hultman might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kalle Fogel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Hultman ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Ek in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yngve Svensson saved Gideå from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Gideå's zone, Adrian Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yngve Svensson came out of the goal and Adrian Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yngve Svensson was a little too slow when Ulf Bålström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Edmund Andersson charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Andersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edmund Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. If Ulf Bålström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Broddetorp's Adrian Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Yngve Svensson managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Broddetorp's Ulf Bålström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Adrian Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Ek made a kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Adrian Ek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gideå's Yngve Svensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jens-Ove Stenquist hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Yngve Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Bålström in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Adrian Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ulf Bålström came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Broddetorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Bålström couldn't finish the play. Broddetorp's Ulf Bålström got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikael Kihlman kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Jens-Ove Stenquist hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ulf Bålström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gideå's Yngve Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Bålström in the 83rd minute of play.
