Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jan Hultman kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Ingvar Ivarsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yngve Svensson. Gideå's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Ivarsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Yngve Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Abelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 11 minutes, Gösta Ahlqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nämdö BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gösta Ahlqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yngve Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Abelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthias Stephansson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Christer Mossberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Matthias Stephansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Hultman struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Christer Mossberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gideå. Nämdö BF's Gösta Ahlqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Herman Abelsson got free in front of the goal in the 38th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Yngve Svensson was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Gideå got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Andersson. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Herman Abelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nämdö BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Herman Abelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yngve Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herman Abelsson was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Gideå's Yngve Svensson got control of the ball when Gösta Ahlqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gideå's Walter Trillkott got a free kick in the 56th minute. Gösta Ahlqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Yngve Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Walter Trillkott fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gideå's protests and gave Walter Trillkott a yellow card for diving instead. Gideå's Yngve Svensson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Gideå from getting a goal against them. If Gösta Ahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Hultman struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Christer Mossberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gideå. Herman Abelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Svensson having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Gösta Ahlqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gösta Ahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yngve Svensson was a little too slow when Herman Abelsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-3. After 91 played minutes Nämdö BF got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Kullander. When Jan Hultman came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Gideå fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Hultman couldn't finish the play. Herman Abelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Yngve Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nämdö BF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
