Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Klas Fastesson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Jan Hultman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alvar Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pär Gerdberg hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Yngve Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Morgan Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Yngve Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Gideå's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Bergfeldt came free, but Yngve Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Bo Skark shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yngve Svensson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jan Hultman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Sundström having to interfere. Thor Bergfeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yngve Svensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thor Bergfeldt ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Gideå getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Walter Trillkott hit a great ball. Yngve Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yngve Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Gerdberg in the 40th minute of play. Edmund Andersson charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Andersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Jan Hultman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Alvar Sundström came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gideå's Jan Hultman. But to his dismay, Jan Hultman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Death IF's Klas Fastesson got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thor Bergfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Klas Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Thor Bergfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Death IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Bergfeldt couldn't finish the play. After 65 played minutes Gideå got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Engström. 66 minutes into the match, Death IF's Vilhelm Ekeroth broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Death IF's zone, Jan Hultman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Sundström came out of the goal and Jan Hultman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yngve Svensson was a little too slow when Klas Fastesson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Gideå's Yngve Svensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Fastesson in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Thor Bergfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Death IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Bergfeldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yngve Svensson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd match minute, Gideå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Trillkott to maneuver through the defense. If Klas Fastesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gideå's zone, Thor Bergfeldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yngve Svensson came out of the goal and Thor Bergfeldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Matthias Stephansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
