Spectators: 7329 (Terracing: 5498, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elof Vestberg got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Åke Jelm in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Ödman saved Kungsgården FK from getting behind. Norrfjärden's Gunnar Bremming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elof Vestberg in the 15th minute of play. If Jan-Olof Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elof Vestberg in the 24th minute of play forced Norrfjärden's goalkeeper Gunnar Bremming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torbjörn Helström's late challenge caught a Norrfjärden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torbjörn Helström helped the player get up and apologised. Torbjörn Helström kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Vincent Hylander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walter Ödman. Kungsgården FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st minute, Torbjörn Helström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Åke Jelm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt-Åke Jelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, Kungsgården FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Björkkvist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Jelm in the 43rd minute of play forced Kungsgården FK's goalkeeper Walter Ödman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gunnar Bremming was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Håkan Andreasson. After the first half Norrfjärden were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Bengt-Åke Jelm made the kick off in the second half. Pontus Mattsson hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Norrfjärden's Bengt-Åke Jelm got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Bengt-Åke Jelm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrfjärden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Åke Jelm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sten Fransson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 61st playminute. Sten Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Ödman having to interfere. Walter Ödman was a little too slow when Bengt-Åke Jelm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-3. Bengt-Åke Jelm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Ödman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. If Bengt-Åke Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 played minutes Norrfjärden got a freekick which was hit by Pontus Mattsson. 78 minutes into the match, Kungsgården FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Jelm came free, but Walter Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Bengt-Åke Jelm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walter Ödman. Bengt-Åke Jelm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Norrfjärden's Sten Fransson got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Bengt-Åke Jelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norrfjärden played a much better game than Kungsgården FK and deserved their victory. The Kungsgården FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
