Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erling Groth ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernt Flink's late challenge caught a Broarna FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernt Flink helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Vretstorp FF got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Flink. Erling Groth struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Simon Kling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broarna FF. Kevin Eckegren came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Vretstorp FF's Hjalmar Gullesson. But to his dismay, Hjalmar Gullesson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Vretstorp FF's Joakim Palmquist in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Broarna FF's goalie prevented a goal. Johan Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Hjalmar Gullesson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Leonard Pettersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Pettersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Kling came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Broarna FF's Erling Groth. But to his dismay, Erling Groth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 37th minute, Vretstorp FF's Jonas Martinsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 42 minutes into the match, Jonas Martinsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Eckegren. Broarna FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Martinsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Broarna FF! Bernt Flink placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joakim Palmquist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Broarna FF's zone, Jonas Martinsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Eckegren came out of the goal and Jonas Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Jonas Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Eckegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Kling made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Erling Groth sent off a good shot on target. If Erling Groth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. After 67 played minutes Magnus Nyman rounded Vretstorp FF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Erling Groths short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Simon Kling to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Martinsson in the 75th minute of play forced Broarna FF's goalkeeper Kevin Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henning Levander during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Broarna FF's Henning Levander got a free kick in the 77th minute. Kevin Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin Eckegren came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Vretstorp FF's Hjalmar Gullesson. Vretstorp FF's Simon Kling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Nyman in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Jonas Martinsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Eckegren. Broarna FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Martinsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Vretstorp FF's Simon Kling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Vretstorp FF from getting a goal against them. Simon Kling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Max Ugla in the 98th minute.
