In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åsa IF's goalkeeper Georg Elg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Patric Lindmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elof Lundblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tom Kock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patric Lindmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Kock having to interfere. Stellan Rönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Elg having to interfere. Elof Lundblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Kock having to interfere. Åsa IF's Elof Lundblad got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elof Lundblad to strike the kick off in the second half. Matthias Hagbergs short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Georg Elg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Conny Bank fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arbrå BK's protests and gave Conny Bank a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Conny Bank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute of the match Sune Hedberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tom Kock skillfully saved the ball. In the 63rd minute, Elof Lundblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tom Kock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Lundblad in the 65th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Arbrå BK's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Lindmark came free, but Tom Kock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stellan Rönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Åsa IF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
