Spectators: 7358 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elof Lundblad got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Elliott Mellbad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The supporters of Åsa IF booed when Rännstensungar FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Kinnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Inge Hedlund came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Rännstensungar FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inge Hedlund couldn't finish the play. After 26 minutes, Elliott Mellbad made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Åsa IF's Georg Elg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Rännstensungar FF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 58 minutes, Sverker Pettersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rännstensungar FF and the Åsa IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sverker Pettersson hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Elof Lundblad notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rännstensungar FF's Tage Björklund. Tage Björklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rännstensungar FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
