LIVAIS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dan Lund came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by LIVAIS's Paul Ahlbeck. But to his dismay, Paul Ahlbeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 25th minute, Maximilian Strömberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 26 minutes, Björn Palm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sala FF and the LIVAIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sala FF's Björn Palm got a free kick in the 26th minute. 32 minutes into the match, LIVAIS's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Arenstedt came free, but Konrad Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredrik Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Konrad Vennerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joseph Ahlquist kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Sture Johnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LIVAIS and the Sala FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sture Johnsson hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Sture Hultstrand sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Konrad Vennerström skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute, Sture Johnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konrad Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Gunnarsson in the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, LIVAIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Ahlquist to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Sala FF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Erik Hjortberg. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Arenstedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sala FF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jens-Erik Hjortberg hit a great ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Dan Arenstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sala FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Arenstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in LIVAIS's zone, Fredrik Gunnarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Vennerström came out of the goal and Fredrik Gunnarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th match minute, LIVAIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. Fredrik Gunnarsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Konrad Vennerström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dan Arenstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Konrad Vennerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Sala FF's Dan Arenstedt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Konrad Vennerström. That made the score 1-1 after 85 minutes of play. In the 92nd match minute, Sala FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Arenstedt to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes, Maximilian Strömberg made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sala FF's Dan Lund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The LIVAIS players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
