Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Linus Strömqvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Mjölby FK's Knut Back got a free kick in the 9th minute. Knut Hegg struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Nils-Erik Brodin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svenshögen BK. Kasper Stålman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Back in the 23rd minute of play. Knut Back's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kasper Stålman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Knut Back managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mjölby FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Knut Back was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasper Stålman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Linus Strömqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Linus Strömqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Erik Brodin made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Stig Lindblom sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Mjölby FK's zone, Knut Hegg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Erik Brodin came out of the goal and Knut Hegg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Anton Klemensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mjölby FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svenshögen BK the free kick. 42 minutes into the match, Svenshögen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Strömqvist came free, but Kasper Stålman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig Lindblom to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Hegg in the 53rd minute of play forced Mjölby FK's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Brodin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The long shot by Roger Eklund in the 55th minute really tested Kasper Stålman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nils-Erik Brodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Hegg in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Linus Strömqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasper Stålman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mjölby FK booed when Svenshögen BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Abelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Roger Eklund fired a really elegant long shot, but Kasper Stålman threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After some careless play in the Svenshögen BK defense, Knut Back kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasper Stålman. The Svenshögen BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasper Stålman should have stopped the shot. Knut Back recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Stig Lindblom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Erik Brodin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a little luck, Svenshögen BK's Kasper Stålman got control of the ball when Knut Back tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Kilström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Svenshögen BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mjölby FK the free kick. In the 84th minute, Stig-Ove Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Linus Strömqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Knut Back had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Erik Brodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Lindblom in the 91st minute of play. Mjölby FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
