Spectators: 7261 (Terracing: 5519, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 50) Eneby Tigers's Pontus Mossberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Samuel Alströmer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivar Hjortberg having to make a save. In the 6th minute, one of Mårdaklev IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mårdaklev IF. Mårdaklev IF's Ivar Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pontus Mossberg in the 12th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Mårdaklev IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Eriksson came free, but Ivar Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ernst Eriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Hjortberg was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Valter Finnman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Lundgren in the 24th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Pontus Mossberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eneby Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Mossberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Pontus Mossberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Pontus Mossberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mårdaklev IF's Ivar Hjortberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nils-Emil Bruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ivar Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Alströmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivar Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Alströmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Reine Åkerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mårdaklev IF's Ivar Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Åkerström in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Ivan Lundgren made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Nils-Emil Bruse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eneby Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Emil Bruse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernst Erikssons short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Ivar Hjortberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ivar Hjortberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reine Åkerström in the 57th minute. If Ernst Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mårdaklev IF's zone, Pontus Mossberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Hjortberg came out of the goal and Pontus Mossberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Reine Åkerström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eneby Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reine Åkerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reine Åkerström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ivar Hjortberg made a huge save. Ivan Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Finnman having to interfere. The supporters of Eneby Tigers booed when Mårdaklev IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Kämpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes, Edward Lång mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mårdaklev IF and the Eneby Tigers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edward Lång hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ernst Eriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ivar Hjortberg made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils Olsson got free with Ivar Hjortberg in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
