Linus Strömqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Mårdaklev IF's Edward Lång got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mårdaklev IF's zone, Knut Back stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Hjortberg came out of the goal and Knut Back tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William Boberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Erik Brodin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Boberg in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Erik Brodin saved Mjölby FK from getting behind. Nils-Erik Brodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Lundgren in the 35th minute of play. Nils-Erik Brodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Lundgren in the 41st minute of the match. Knut Back in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivar Hjortberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Linus Strömqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Mjölby FK's Nils-Erik Brodin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Mjölby FK from getting a goal against them. Ivan Lundgren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Nils-Erik Brodin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edward Lång kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Nils-Erik Brodin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Lundgren in the 62nd minute.
